Mark Johnson
I am the founder of PowerBell Pump™. I’m 53 years old and training has been my life’s work, which started in the 1970’s. I’ve seen a lot of changes in fitness, some good and some downright ridiculous. I have always considered myself to be a bit of a maverick, unwilling to buy into what the mainstream fitness market has to offer.
I enjoy the challenges that people present me with each day, they are in respect helping me to be creative with my knowledge and experience to give them the results they want. This still gives me a buzz about the work I do.
I work through feedback using sophisticated technology and a client’s physical and mental indicators. I don’t have any preconceived ideas about people, I just really listen to them, then clarify by asking the right questions and take it from there; it’s simple. That’s why I have been so successful with people because they like what I do and and the way that I do it.
Finding kettlebells some years ago was a ‘eureka’ moment for me. Throughout my career I have trained people using anaerobic and aerobic systems in the same exercise programmes to get the best results. Kettlebell training compliments the work that I do so well. PowerBell Pump™ was born out of the recognition that people need to make more informed decisions about their health and exercise. The development of PBP gives people the tools and education to help them achieve that.
I honestly believe that PowerBell Pump™ is some of my best work to date.
